What we look at on your line: mounting points, working distance, vibration, ambient light and recipe variety. Prepare these in advance and the survey takes less time.
Pre-purchase checklist
An alignment system is not chosen from a catalogue; it is measured on the line. The data we collect during the survey feeds every design decision, from housing length to laser colour. The eight headings below are the full set of questions we ask on site, and you can prepare most of them before we arrive.
Machine width · the narrowest and widest cutting recipe · recipe changes per day · a photograph of the mounting area · the make of the line automation and its communication protocol · material type and surface colour.
With those six items we can produce a preliminary layout and architecture proposal before we arrive on site.
The data collected becomes design input directly: travel and reserve area set the rail assembly length, working distance sets laser selection and focus, recipe variety drives the architecture decision, and the automation infrastructure defines the interface scope. We issue the resulting layout proposal with the mounting details and, once approved, move into manufacture.
