PROVEN APPLICATIONS
ACROSS SIX INDUSTRIES

The cases below come from projects commissioned on site. Customer identities are withheld for commercial confidentiality; the figures are shared so you can scale system capacity and performance to your own line.

INSTALLATIONS

SIX SEGMENTS
SIX SCALES

How the same reference logic scales across different line types.

RUBBER AND COMPOSITE · REINFORCEMENT LAYUP

EDGE AND SYMMETRY REFERENCE ON A CURVED SURFACE

The layup width of the reinforcement plies changed from product to product, and the edge and symmetry reference had to be rebuilt at every changeover.

CorePrecisorSystem
K4dual channelConfiguration
1,600mmTravel
±1.00mmProjection accuracy

Starting point

Layup width varied by product group, and centring on the curved surface was done by eye. The same product was set up differently across shifts, resulting in inconsistent output.

What was installed

A dual-channel configuration: two moving channels travel to the edge positions in the recipe while a fixed laser on a separate bracket keeps the centre reference visible throughout production.

HYGIENE PRODUCTS AND NONWOVEN · MULTI-LAYER LINE

TWENTY-SIX LASER LINES, ONE SERVO AXIS

Many laser reference lines had to be visible simultaneously, and the product size changed several times a day.

1servo axisMoving axis

Starting point

Measuring and adjusting each reference line individually at every recipe change was the longest stop on the line, and small offsets between layers accumulated at the merge point.

What was installed

A three-rail shuttle architecture: one servo axis carries 26 carriages to their recipe positions in sequence, each carriage locks on its rail, and once setup is complete every reference line remains visible at the same time.

PACKAGING AND PAPER · SIZE CHANGEOVERS

A SHARED SETUP REFERENCE ACROSS SIZES

The line ran a wide range of sizes, and the guides and process elements were repositioned at every changeover.

ShuttlePrecisorSystem
16lasersCarriage count
1,800mmTravel
±1.00mmProjection accuracy

Starting point

The same product was set up differently across shifts, resulting in inconsistent output and increased material waste. There was no shared position reference across sizes.

What was installed

Sixteen laser carriages move to the positions defined in the recipe. At a size change the operator simply selects the recipe, and every position is rebuilt within the same reference frame.

FILM AND FOIL · REEL SLITTING

A STABLE CUT REFERENCE BETWEEN TWO EDGES

Reel width and slit width changed from recipe to recipe, and the position of both edges had to be rebuilt at every changeover.

CorePrecisorSystem
K3single channel + fixedConfiguration
2,000mmTravel
±1.00mmProjection accuracy

Starting point

On a glossy, transparent surface the edge position was judged by eye and re-measured at every recipe change. When the ambient lighting changed, the same product could be set up differently.

What was installed

One moving channel travels to the edge target held in the recipe, while two fixed lasers keep the reference limits of the working area visible throughout production.

TEXTILES AND TECHNICAL FABRICS · LAYUP

CENTRE FIXED, EDGES FROM THE RECIPE

Even with correct edges the product came out off-centre once the centre axis was lost, so the symmetry reference had to hold throughout production.

CorePrecisorSystem
K4dual channelConfiguration
2,400mmTravel
±1.00mmProjection accuracy

Starting point

Layup width varied by product group and the centre axis was re-marked at every changeover. The marking could differ from shift to shift.

What was installed

Two moving channels take the edge positions from the recipe while a fixed laser on a separate bracket keeps the centre axis continuously visible.

LABELS AND ADHESIVE TAPE · NARROW-WIDTH SLITTING

DOZENS OF CUT REFERENCES FROM ONE RECIPE

One recipe meant dozens of cut positions, and measuring and setting them one by one had become the longest stoppage on the line.

ShuttlePrecisorSystem
20lasersCarriages
1,800mmTravel
±1.00mmProjection accuracy

Starting point

In narrow-width slitting the blade positions were measured and set in sequence, and a recipe change could take longer than the production run itself.

What was installed

The shuttle architecture carries every blade position in sequence; once setup is finished all the reference lines stay visible at the same time.
